This module focuses on issues of race, ethnicity and cultural diversity in education. All through the module, college students will develop into aware of a spread of theoretical sources used to discover how bodies change and take form over time, developing an understanding of the interconnectedness of gender, culture and ‘the body’.
Schooling, education, society and tradition covers topics of political, historical and social formation of the educational system, policy-making, social justice, equality in addition to cross-cultural perspectives in instructor education, and educational and work settings.
